Welcome to the IPS!

The International Photographic Society (IPS) is composed of IMF and World Bank staff and family members. The main aim of the IPS is to foster interest in photography, facilitate exchange of ideas and experience, and encourage and assist members in their photographic endeavors. It is oriented toward a range of experience and skill levels, and ranks among the top amateur clubs in regional competitions. At the heart of IPS' activities are its monthly meetings, which feature a guest speaker, social intermission with refreshments, and photo competitions. The guest speaker evaluates, comments on, and selects the winning slides and prints. Monthly winners are selected for the IPS Annual Exhibit in May. Although competitions are restricted to members only, the meetings are open to World Bank and IMF staff and families. Meetings are usually held on the third Wednesday of the month (with a break in the summer). Other activities include:
